Preparing the Bundt pans

This step is very important to ensure that your bundts release from the pan in tact. If you are using brand new bundt pans, then you may only need to spray them with non-stick cooking spray. If the pans are a bit worn, then it may be worth it to butter and lightly flour them to ensure that the cakes release. There is nothing worse then your cake breaking apart while trying to remove them from the pan, so take the extra time to prepare them.

Once the cakes are finished baking, set them out to cool for 5 minutes before releasing them from the pans. You also want to make sure that the cakes cool down completely before drizzling them with the glaze.
